MD Consultant Radiologist, KAT Hospital

I work as a consultant radiologist at KAT Hospital, which is orthopedically oriented, for the last 20 years. I now hold the position of Director in the radiologic department of KAT hospital.
My main interest, occupying a considerable part of the daily work, is the diagnostic imaging of the musculoskeletal system. I have trained in musculoskeletal tumor imaging at the Royal Orthopedic Hospital, Birmingham, UK.
I have been main author or coauthor in several papers published in Greek and international journals. I attend musculoskeletal courses in Greece and internationally, and I often contribute as a speaker in these courses.
I am a member of the ESR and ESSR. I am also a member of the Hellenic Radiologic Society, which frequently assigns me papers for review, as probable publications for the "Hellenic Journal of Radiology”.
I dedicate a part of my working time, which I believe most important, to teaching residents in radiology and transmit knowledge and experience to them. I also believe that solid communication between radiologists and referring clinicians is of paramount importance at the present era, in order to serve patient's interests in the best possible way.
I am a member of the ESR, ESSR, and HSSR, serving as the elected president of HSSR during this period. I am also a member of the Hellenic Radiologic Society, which frequently assigns me papers for review, as probable publications for the "Hellenic Journal of Radiology”.
