Olympia Papakonstantinou, MD is Associate Professor of Radiology of the 2nd Department of Radiology in the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
She completed her residency and, subsequently her PhD thesis in Areteion University Hospital.
She completed one-year fellowship on Musculoskeletal imaging at the Department of Radiology of the University of California at San Diego under the direction of Professor DL Resnick.
She worked as Registrat of the National Health System and Lecturer of Radiology in the Radiology Department of the Medical School of Crete University till 2005 and from 2005 till now then she is working in the 2nd Department of Radiology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, at “Attikon” University Hospital.
She was responsible for MSK imaging during Olympics 2004 in Athens.
She has 70 international peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, more than 100 national and international invited lectures, 10 best paper awards and more than 200 presentations in national and international meetings.
